Before Lift

See how the 31x10.5 15's almost look like low profile tires? We'll have to fix that. Heh, heh, heh.

The Components

AIM 3" Lift Spindles, Moog Coil Springs for Ram 2500 (Part # 7392) **NOTE: 2500 Coil Springs give 0 lift. None. Nada. Zilch. Spacers or aftermarket coils are needed.** Heckethorn Shocks, AIM 5" Lift Blocks

OEM Parts Modifications Part 1

The Aim spindles require relocation of the ABS sensor from below the spindle shaft to behind it. Slight modifications were required to the bolt holes of the ABS sensor and the lip of the dust shield to get everything to fit properly.
|
OEM Parts Modifications Part 2.

We knew before hand that the bumpstops would have to go, but we also had to trim the lip on the lower control arm. The spindle wouldn't turn until after we trimmed everything up. The driver side required much more of the bumpstop to be removed.

New Sway Bar Links

The stock sway bar links were all kinds of interfering with the spindle's ability to turn freely (past center!). The use of shorter links allowed the spindle to turn properly, and still left room to spare between the tie rod and sway bar.

After Lift

With 35x12.50 15's as well. Some rubbing mid turn, but at lock, hardly any rub at all. Nothing a Sawzall and BFH won't solve.
